Our Dog Copernicus

For many years my dear dog Copernicus has been let out the front door right before dawn. He goes out on his own to explore the world. He would stay gone from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. He always comes back unharmed. Sadly his days of wild freedom are over. One mountain line was hit by a car and killed out on Pacific Coast Highway 1. Another mountain lion was discovered in a back yard in Linda Mar. Copernicus would be a good meal for a mountain lion.
