Everybody I saw something inspirational in church yesterday. Joao and Djenane Santos have a friend of 24 years named Kim. He came to this country from Brasil. He worked his way through Green Card to naturalized US citizen. He brought his two daughters to church. They had just got their Green Cards and were happy to be in the USA and proud of this country. With all this political fighting and pessimism going around, it's wonderful to see people who still love this country and have faith in it.
Life takes us in many strange directions and wonderful discoveries. It never turns out the way we thought it would.
