In Elena's absence, I have undertaken an ambitious project to reorganize the pantry. This requires a lot of bending and strange contortions. I suffered a terrible muscle pull on the lower left side of my chest. For many hours, I lay immobilized with agonizing pain in bed. I could not even get up to go to the bathroom. Now I am up with the help of painkillers. While I was immobilized, our dear German Shephard Alfred ran out of food in the bowls. Nearby is a plastic bin full of dog food, Alfred was smart enough to take the top off. He ate from the bin. Animals can be amazing!!!
Life takes us in many strange directions and wonderful discoveries. It never turns out the way we thought it would.
