In the US it is against the law for the CIA to do wet operations. However it is OK for them to use Predator drones to take out people. When a human assassin is required, they used to use Mossad types. They hire it out form somewhere.

The Mossad had 12 agents with a license to kill formed into four 3-person Kidon teams. Yarid teams did all of the scouting and recon for them. When I was researching Laguna, one of the Kidon team types told me that a death warrant signed by both the Israeli Prime Minister and Chief Justice of the Israeli Supreme Court was required before someone could be killed. In actual practice the Kidon agents had blank death warrants already signed by the PM and Supreme Court Chief Justice. They just had to fill in the name and execute the person on the warrant.

Hello Jack: The British can be so naive. This is a case of Lady Sawers doing her thing probalbly without checking with her old man. Normally SIS or as its normally and wrongly called MI6 recruit from within and never go outside. The 'Chief' is always recommended by the 5 Wise Men to the PM. These gentlemen are all permanent secretaries to Home Office, Treasury, Foreign Office,Cabinet Office and another which I have forgot. You can bet his wife got sorted out by Millibrand and Sir John. The Brits as you know are also the most dangerous people when it comes to sorting people out - apart from the Mossad. SIS have a branch called the "Increment" which does all the UK Gov's wet jobs which even the SAS cannot handle. I have just got back from church and feel relaxed. Our Pastor is off with stress problems. It gets us all!! Colin
