At age 18 when a man or woman starts at the US Military Academy (West Point), they learn a simple principle of life in the honor code:"I will not lie, cheat, or steal." The tax payers gave General Flynn an incredible education free of charge. They paid him a salary while he was a student. They paid for his room and board. When he graduated, he got a management position and a well-paying job, (Most of us left college with student loan debt and fought to find any kind of job).General Flynn has a great pension that most of us can only dream about. General Flynn let us all down.
Life takes us in many strange directions and wonderful discoveries. It never turns out the way we thought it would.
