Yesterday was another day of hard work on the house. John and the crew came in and demolished the old bathroom of Elena. We found some irregular concrete. John will have ti use a jack hammer on Friday to tear it up so that he can pour new concrete. A leak also developed in the plumbing. It was a big challenge and took two hours to fix, Work was also started on framing in the dining area. Peninsula Heating and Air Conditioning came by. Joe Byrne did a lot of engineering work on putting in a new heat duct for the dining area, computer room and our bedroom. He also will present a quote for an ultra energy-efficient central heating system. We have three weeks to go on phase 2. Then we will start the kitchen, John Jolivette, Jr. did some brilliant engineering work on the plumbing for the kitchen. It will save a lot of money.
Life takes us in many strange directions and wonderful discoveries. It never turns out the way we thought it would.
