"Our Man In Ukraine"

       I get so many complaints from people about the lack of effective coverage of the Ukraine war. In my estimation, traditional media outlets do not give the war the attention that it deserves. Official Russian and Ukraine sources have an ulterior motive of propaganda. There are a lot of purveyors of fake news and sensationalism.

       Please allow me to introduce you to Denys Davydov. He is a Ukrainian. He built a strong career as an aviation professional and senior airline pilot. He learned to speak English like an American.

    When Russia invaded Ukraine, he got furloughed from his airline. He approached the Ukraine Air Force, He offered his services as a pilot. He was declined on the grounds that they had more pilots than airplanes. He reported to the Ukraine army. He was rejected there because he had a special skill that would be in great demand once Ukrainian airlines started to fly again.

       Denys has a wife and child. He could have joined millions of other refugees and fled the country. He declined to do this. He knew that Kyiv would be very dangerous. He located a small village far from all military activities, He moved there. He now shares a house with another family. He has electricity, internet, food, and water as well s a roof over his head.

     Denys reinvented himself. He turned to YouTube. He started a podcast Update From Ukraine. It is full of factual and accurate information. This is where I get my Ukraine news. I recommend this podcast to all of you!
