Not Much Has Changed In 52 Years

Gerry in the 1960's ABC news had a great commentator named Howard K. Smith. After Walter Cronkite he was the dean of television journalists. At the end of some newscasts he would give some editorial comments.One evening in early 1968 he gave a talk about American society and the different ways the rich and the poor are treated by government. He ended with these words:"It is capitalism for the poor and socialism for the rich." In 52 years not much has changed.
