Yesterday afternoon I got something important accomplished. One of our readers sold the house that we live in. Many more of you are quite familiar with the house. The main part of the house with two bedrooms, the living room, the kitchen, and the dining area was constructed in 1941. (I try to imagine the people living in our house on December 7, 1941, when word came on the radio that Pearl Harbor had been attacked.) In 1954, the master bedroom with its bathroom and the two-car garage was constructed.
Our garage is 68 years old. It has
undergone many changes over almost 7 decades. Automatic garage door openers
were installed. The wiring and lighting systems were dramatically modernized. A
Wi-Fi hotspot was added. What did not change was all the mechanical components
like garage door wheels, cables, and sensors were never modernized. We were
constantly having all sorts of problems with garage doors not closing, etc.
Precision Doors came out yesterday and modernized all the mechanical components
and sensors in the garage. Now it works right! The week is off to a good start!
