Sometimes the simplest things work wonders. I got two plastic buckets from the North County Water District. Each bucket goes under a shower head in the house. As people take showers, the buckets fill. The program has worked quite well. I am able to water all of the plants in the front yard with this surplus water. One former employer of many years had a saying as follows:
"Every bit helps."
