A Beautiful Sunday Interlude In Santa Cruz, California

Elena and I went to Santa Rosa, California yesterday. The great director Alfred Hitchcock loved this small city. He often filmed movies there and near by. It's a charming small city. Elena and I left the car in covered parking so the dogs would be protected from the sun. We went to a charming art museum. They had a small selection of artists but the work was high quality. We took some great pictures. We then walked two blocks and had lunch at an Italian restaurant. We were the only customers. I had a glass of Chianti and we shared a salad. Elena had a panini and I had a marvelous chicken dish. We listened to romantic music and were happy just to be alive and in love.
