Six Tense Hours In The Emergency Room

My dear friends Saturday Elena and I joyously celebrated 15 years together. Today I spent 6 tense and stressful hours in the emergency room at Kaiser South San Francisco. An emergency room is a cold and unfriendly place. I was there due to very bad pain in my groins and stomach. It could have been kidney stones. It could have been appendicitis. It might have been some sort of awful cancer rearing its ugly head. Dr. Edward Joseph Baddour and his team did an incredible job. I was put through a battery of tests including a CT scan. The final diagnosis was a torn leg muscle and minor hernia. Elena was at my side during this awful ordeal. We both were relieved by the final diagnosis!
