By now we know that the bailout probably won't cost $23.7 trillion, but the tab will certainly run in the trillions of dollars. Either way, one trillion dollars is an almost stupefying number. How many lattes could you buy for $1 trillion? According to this new video from Mint.com, the personal finance website, for $1 trillion you could buy a $3 latte everyday for 900 million years. Yikes.
According to the calculations compiled by Mint, that $1 trillion could also fund the military of all the NATO countries combined, is twice the cost of the new deal and is bigger than Australia's GDP. In other words, it's a staggeringly big figure.
