It's The 4th of July-Hug A French Person

Today is the 4th of July. 30,000 American colonists died to get this country started. The new Continental Congress ran up a debt of $115 million dollars to pay for our war of independence. We were lucky to have pulled it off. Britain was preoccupied with the war with Napoleon. General Wellington and their best resources were used to stop Napoleon. Had it not been for the French, we might not have got our independence.
