Customers Have Begun Successfully Placing Orders For The 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV

2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV Charging

The 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV is coming … to the west coast. Hybrid Cars reports customers have begun successfully placing orders for the Bolt EV at California and Oregon dealerships.
This follows the news of select west coast dealers beginning to see the 2017 Bolt EV showing up in computer systems for dealer allocation. In particular, at least 449 Bolt EVs have been allocated to the San Francisco Bay area.
However, it’s unclear if the Orion assembly plant has officially begun production of the 2017 Bolt EV, and we’d assume GM and Chevrolet would not miss the chance to publicize the fact an affordable EV ($37,495 before federal tax credits) for the masses has begun production.
Chevrolet has countlessly reiterated the first 2017 Bolt EVs will reach consumers by the end of 2016. Expect a nationwide rollout next year.
